These terms are an agreement between you and GETVOLLEYSCOUT LLC (“we,” “us”), which operates Volley Scout (the “service”). By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you're agreeing on behalf of a school, club, or team, you confirm you're authorized to do so, and “you” includes that organization.
Your plan includes a set number of logins for your coaching staff. You're responsible for who uses them, for keeping passwords private, and for everything done under your account. Tell us right away at contact@getvolleyscout.com if you think someone has accessed it without permission.
You own the scouting data, stats, lineups, notes, rosters, photos, and anything else you or your staff enter or upload (“your data”). You give us permission to store, copy, process, and display your data only as needed to run the service for you and to keep it secure. We don't claim ownership of it and we don't sell it.
You're responsible for having the right to enter and upload your data, including any photos of players, and for following your school, league, or club rules about collecting it.
Paid plans are billed as described when you purchase. Plans don't renew automatically - each season is purchased separately.
14-day refund.If Volley Scout isn't right for you, email contact@getvolleyscout.com within 14 days of your account being activated (the day your logins are set up, not the day you pay) and we'll refund the full amount, no questions asked. After those 14 days, fees are non-refundable, including for a partly used season, except:
Refunds go back to the original payment method, or by check for a school purchase order, within 10 business days of approval.

We may suspend accounts that break these rules.
Scouting data, stats, and AI lineup suggestions are there to support your judgment, not replace it. They depend on what's entered and may be incomplete or wrong. You're responsible for your coaching decisions.
We're improving the service all the time and may add, change, or remove features. If we remove something central to a paid plan you've already paid for, we'll give you notice and a prorated refund as described in section 3.
The service is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We don't promise the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any data or suggestion will be accurate.
To the fullest extent the law allows, we won't be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost data, profits, or games. Our total liability for any claim about the service is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose.
You can stop using the service and close your account at any time. We can end or suspend your access if you break these terms, or if we stop offering the service, in which case we'll give reasonable notice where we can. Your data is handled as described in section 3 either way. Sections 2, 5, 7, 8, and 10 survive after the agreement ends.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts located there.
If we change these terms, we'll update the effective date above and notify account holders by email before significant changes take effect. Continuing to use the service after that means you accept the new terms.
